Today there is an increasing need for image capturing and reproduction jobs in the digital age. Professional users in administration, institutions, libraries, universities and research institutes already are using copy stands manufactured by Kaiser Fototechnik.
The new "RSP 2motion" rounds off Kaiser's professional copy stand range. The "RSP 2motion" belongs to the "rePRO family" of copy stands and its 7 ft. column allows for an extremely flexible working range: camera carrier and object carrier can both be individually adjusted in height. Thus not only the working level can be placed in an ergonomically favourable position, but also the possible shooting distances cover a very wide range. Height adjustment for both levels are motorized and are operated by remote control cables. They feature two travel speeds, they are constant and independent of load. Any height position is exactly held. Photo sensors are used for automatic cut-off at the top and bottom of the column and also provide from collision protection between the moving base board and the moving camera arm.
The base board is made from 4 mm aluminium and has a stabilizing substructure. It accepts originals up to 100 x 80 cm (39.4 x 31.5 in.). The maximum load is 33 lbs.
The camera carrier - made of die-cast aluminium - can be horizontally adjusted by parallel guides. Its maximum load is 22 lbs. The wide camera mounting plate can be tilted by +/- 90°.
Due to the use of a multi-section special extrusion the column is extremely sturdy. It is bolted to a steel socket that is a part of the heavy column base made of double strutted steel tube. Each of the four levelling feet can be adjusted individually.
As an option there is also a version of the stand without the base board. This can be adopted or integrated into existing working environments.
